However, non-slippery socks for children and grown-ups are also OK. Provide snacks for your child at home. Please do not bring food or drinks to class. Also please make sure you and your child take care of bathroom needs before class. Please leave toys, pacifiers, snacks, sippy cups, etc. at home or in the car. Your child will need to have his hands and voice free to participate. Please put those 'At Home Materials' to good use :o) Listening to the CD frequently will help a child feel a sense of familiarity. This will make the class more enjoyable for them. Sick child - Please be considerate of other children when deciding whether or not your child is healthy enough to attend class. Ask yourself this important question: if your child is healthy, would you want him/her playing with another child who presents with fever, runny nose, diarrhea, vomiting, lice, or any other infectious illnesses? If the answer is no, please do not bring your child to class if he/she has any of those symptoms. All instruments and other materials used in class will be cleaned on a regular basis to help to prevent the passage of illness. The voice and participation that matters the most to your child is yours, not the educator's! If you can talk, you can chant/sing. Remember, it is all about the process of making your child happy. If your child becomes disruptive (crying, screaming, running) , please step outside the classroom space to give your child a moment to calm down. Do come back in as soon as you can. REMEMBER: The object of each class if for you and your child to have an enjoyable learning experience !!! |
